MtronPTI Releases a High Performance/Reduced Size OCXO
Orlando, FL - August 29, 2005 - MtronPTI has released the XO5183 family of high performance OCXO products in a 1.0 x 0.8 x 0.5 inch enclosure. The XO5183 family features a close in phase noise performance of -90 dBc at a 1 Hz offset for a 10 MHz sinewave device. For special applications, it can be as low as -100 dBc/Hz at a 1 Hz offset. Joe Doyle, Vice President of Engineering at MtronPTI, commented, “The market is looking for another reliable vendor to support this footprint and low phase noise performance. Our base line one inch square product family was a natural product to modify and service this market need.” The XO5183 family offers ±10 ppb stability over 0°C to 70°C and is offered between 10 and 120 MHz. Other feature options include voltage supplies between 5 and 15 volts; sinewave or HCMOS output; extended temperature ranges to -40° to 85°C; and a surface mount or through hole package. The XO5183 family was developed to support a test and measurement application and is ideal for VSAT (very small aperture terminal) transceiver and base station applications.
