NEW PECL/REDUCED SIZE OCXO PRODUCT FAMILY RELEASED

MtronPTI Releases a PECL/ Reduced Size OCXO Product Family
Orlando, FL – December 5, 2005 – MtronPTI announces the introduction of a Low Profile, Surface Mount OCXO with a PECL output. Tailored to meet the needs of Optical Switching systems and other Stratum 3 applications, Model XO5285 features a 3.3 V PECL output at standard frequencies of 51.85, 77.76, and 100 MHz. The XO5285 is also available with most frequencies between 50.0 MHz and 125.0 MHz and supply voltages ranging from 3.0V to 15.0V.
“This product will meet an important need for many of our customers who are looking for a compact, very reliable, high stability timing reference for their applications”, according to Paul Dechen, VP of New Business Development at MtronPTI. “This oscillator is a surface mount device with the popular PECL output and is available in a wide range of frequencies”.
The XO5285 is designed as a hermetically sealed 24.0 mm x 22.0 mm x 12.7 mm product available as a Surface Mount Device (SMD) or a through-hole version. Its overall stability, including temperature and aging, is less than 4.6 ppm over 10 years over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
