MTRONPTI EXPANDS ON MILITARY PRODUCT OFFERING

MtronPTI Expands on Military Product Offering
February 7, 2007 – Yankton, SD – MtronPTI is pleased to announce that its Yankton, SD manufacturing facility recently received MIL-STD-790 certification by the Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC) for the US Department of Defense. MtronPTI is already a major supplier of frequency control products to military, aerospace, and high reliability programs from both of its factories in Yankton and its operation in Orlando, Florida. This certification of the Yankton facility will enhance MtronPTI’s product offerings for these markets.
MtronPTI’s presence in the military and aerospace market is not new. MtronPTI has been manufacturing high reliability products for these markets from both Yankton and Orlando for over 40 years. With extensive on-site testing capabilities, MtronPTI’s products are designed, qualified, and tested to meet or exceed military and aerospace requirements and specifications. The MIL-STD-790 certification will allow MtronPTI to sell miniature-sized oscillators using hybrid construction techniques into applications requiring QPL (qualified product list) products. These oscillators will be an addition to MtronPTI’s already broad military product offering of filters, oscillators, TCXOs, OCXOs, and VCXOs.
