MTRONPTI RECOGNIZED AS A STRATEGIC SUPPLIER FOR NORTEL

MtronPTI Recognized as a Strategic Supplier for Nortel
Yankton, South Dakota – May 8, 2007 – MtronPTI of Yankton, South Dakota, has been recognized as a Strategic Supplier by Nortel Networks.
MtronPTI, producer of frequency control products, was recognized with the award based on their broad product offering and continued customer service flexibility. The award also recognized the technology planning alignment demonstrated between MtronPTI and Nortel.
MtronPTI was one of only four Strategic Suppliers recognized by Nortel, surpassing the more than 85 North American competitors in their market alone. A recognition plaque was presented to MtronPTI in conjunction with the recent Nortel Supplier Conference in Beijing, China.

MtronPTI’s VP Sales & Marketing, Dick Thompson, attended the Nortel Supplier Conference in Beijing together with Eddie Leung, the Managing Director of MtronPTI – Asia. Dick Thompson commented, “Nortel has considered MtronPTI a Preferred Supplier for more than 20 years. Elevation to a Strategic level is a special recognition of the close collaboration between our companies over the years. Many of the technology developments of MtronPTI can be directly tied to advanced requirements from Nortel.
