MTRONPTI CERTIFIED BY DSCC FOR QPL OSCILLATOR

MtronPTI Certified by DSCC for QPL Oscillator
Yankton, South Dakota – March 18, 2008 – MtronPTI, a leading producer of frequency control and filter products for Military and Aerospace applications, announced today that they have passed the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) certification process for MIL-PRF-55310. MtronPTI has a wide array of oscillator products designed for high reliability and harsh duty applications, and this latest capability further enhances the suite of products and services that MtronPTI provides to Military, Aerospace, and Avionic customers.
Successful testing was completed to MIL-C-55310 to add specific oscillator families to the MtronPTI Qualified Products List (QPL). DSCC approval was granted February 20, 2008. MtronPTI has been QPL qualified for crystals to MIL-PRF-3098 since 1967. These products are used in a wide range of Military/Aerospace programs from battlefield communications, data exchange, command and control, smart munitions, and air-to-ground support.
“This qualification was a natural extension of our existing high reliability product offerings,” commented Joe Doyle, VP Engineering at MtronPTI. “MtronPTI’s products, manufacturing processes, personnel and quality control systems were already well-suited to this qualification.”
