Maintenance Technician

The maintenance technician performs various maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs and modifying production / plant equipment for our Orlando, FL location.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Repairs all industrial equipment including, but not limited to: vacuum systems, vacuum pumps, ovens, electrical test equipment, pneumatic devices, valves, etc.
  • Build various plant and office equipment.  Modify existing equipment as needed to upgrade or update existing systems.
  • Preventive maintenance on ventilation and refrigeration units.
  • Install new or upgrade electrical wiring, circuits, and breakers. 
  • Perform administrative computer tasks in QCBD.
  • Act as on-call for any emergencies. (highly important)
  • Support weekend facility checks (alternating).
  • Upkeep of inspections for preventive maintenance or repair schedules. 
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes, equipment cleaning and adjustments.
  • General improvement / upkeep of plant.  Replacement of floor tile, drop ceilings, lights, painting, equipment movement, etc.
  • Helps to maintain and abide by all local and state regulations for waste collection and disposal.
  • Takes direction from supervisor and other team members as needed.
  • Support onboard training of newly hires when needed.
  • All other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma with some relevant technical training.
  • Strong understanding of various industrial tools and their use.
  • Good communication skills; Ability to speak English clearly.
  • Ability to read English and perform tasks as defined.
  • Organized and reliable.
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds

Electronic Assembler

Major responsibilities include:

  • Electronic assembly / soldering per IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 requirements
  • IPC Class 1, 2, 3, on micro components and surface mounts.
  • Experience with micro assemblies used on military and prototype applications.
  • Mechanical assembly using torque tools, and fixtures
  • Hand winding of air wound and toroidal coils
  • Various processes such as leak check, epoxy curing, etc.
  • Demonstrate solder skills of surface mount components to PCB.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Familiar of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
  • Capable of Class 3 (Military and Hi-Rel) certifications (existing certification preferred)
  • Ability to use microscopes for small assemblies for long periods at a time.

  • Ability to read English and understand procedures, travelers and process documents.

Quality Assurance Specialist

This position performs various quality control activities. This includes contract review, conflict minerals and REACH/RoHS compliance.
This position also performs internal audits of the QMS and related processes.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Perform contract review for customer requirements
  • Alternate for export control- Hong Kong
  • Serves as an internal auditor for the AS9100 & ISO14001 systems.
  • Assists in the pre-audit preparation of internal and external audits 
  • Store, manage and track company/ Customer documents
  • Update or contribute to specification and procedure updates
  • Conflict mineral coordinator
  • REACH/RoHS
  • Answer all incoming company calls.
  • Research and validate present and new customers/suppliers for contract review
  • Back up for morning shipping status
  • Back up for Denied Parties List management
  • Back up for new customer validation
  • Hold training sessions and presentations when needed.
  • Assist with part/material inspection when needed

Crystal Assembler 1

This position performs frequent rigorous tasks in a controlled clean room environment such as, mounting, cleaning, washing, and inspection of crystals resonators under a microscope. These processes require knowledge of use of various equipment such as bake ovens, ultrasonic cleaners, as well as various tools such as microscopes, hand brushes and hand tools.  The assembler will also load and operate various automated equipment.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Mount and cure crystal resonators
  • Performs inspections under a microscope to insure parts are meeting quality standards and FOD free particles
  • Run automated equipment as needed
  • Performs hand washing processes using ultrasonic cleaners
  • Coordinates with the line supervisor to transition finished product once completed
  • Periodically checks with other peers or line leads to support other functions as needed in the finish product line
  • Confers with the process engineers, supervisor, and other technical workers to assist with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair techniques when needed
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to 5S and GMPs policies

Qualifications

  • Hand coordination and dexterity.
  • Knowledge of crystals, specs, SOPs, and testing processes.
  • Ability to work cohesively with peers, engineers and supervisors.
  • Be able to use a microscope for long periods of time.
  • Accountable for addressing any issues in their cell areas to the supervisor.
  • Understanding of basic tools or testing equipment.

Education, Experience & Training

  • GED or High School diploma.

Physical Requirements & Working Environment

  • Some light lifting required.
  • Sitting for long periods.
  • Squatting or bending.
  • Walking around the cell or production floor.

Electrical Engineering Technician

The manufacturing engineering technician performs tests and experiments on standard product as well as engineering samples and R&D items. Also works with production test and manufacturing equipment to help optimize throughput, yield and efficiency.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Performs tests and experiments on product for research and development programs.
  • Performs engineering and R&D tasks which can involve the construction of product and production related items.
  • Performs tests and experiments on product to help optimize production test and manufacturing equipment.
  • Tests procedures and documentation for validity and assists in the writing and changing of documentation.
  • Assists in tracking production down time and other issues involving production test equipment. Suggests methods for improvement including preventative maintenance schedules as well as other changes.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • All other assigned duties. 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge about Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and scientific method a plus.
  • Familiarity with multiple software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point is required.
  • Good documentation skills and recording ability. Precise and ability to exactly follow instructions necessary.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organized and reliable.

Education, Experience & Training

  • Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering with more than 3 years of applicable experience.

Physical Requirements & Working Environment

  • Some light lifting required.

Electronic Technician

Major responsibilities include:

  • Use of Electronic Test Equipment including, but not limited to, Vector Network Analyzers, frequency counters, power supplies, etc.
  • Ability to run various computer based electronic process equipment for testing purposes.
  • Test / Tune various RF and Microwave filters for key parameters such as insertion loss, return loss and attenuation points.
  • Test / Set up various oscillators including OCXOs, TCXOs, VCXOs.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose typical problems to component level.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Electrical and Electronic knowledge.
  • US Citizen.
  • Salary range based upon collective education and experience.
  • Must be able to secure a security clearance.

Education, Experience & Training

  • AS degree in Electronics or equivalent military experience.

Project Engineer

This position is responsible for managing multiple key projects including, but not limited to space assemblies, mil/aero assemblies and other products that require a level of review and management to fulfill customer’s requirements.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates all aspects of assigned projects from beginning stages through completion and shipping.
  • Interact with customers as required for all deliverable items, front end engineering discussions and any post deliverable concerns.
  • Work with planning and production management to derive schedules and Gantt charts as needed.
  • Work with engineering on the infancy stages to review potential projects and create costing and schedule time lines.
  • Create Technical data packages and PIDs (process identification documents) and ensure that these are reviewed and approved by customers.
  • Works with process engineering to develop production level documentation as needed to support all projects.
  • Create drawings for piece parts, instructions, etc. as needed to support project.
  • Create test plans and procedures.
  • Create final and intermediate reports as needed.
  • Works with design engineering to create MTBF and other engineering reports as needed.
  • Participates with MRBs and issues in conjunction with open projects.
  • Oversees and follows-up on any open actions for any project.
  • Reports to management and sales weekly status for all open projects.
  • All other reasonable duties, as assigned.  

Qualifications
