CHIEF ENGINEERING OFFICER - TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT
Position Summary:
MtronPTI is seeking a Chief Engineering Officer - Technology Development, who will be responsible for the establishment of the company's overall technical vision while leading all aspects of technology development. In addition, the Chief Engineering Officer is expected to play an integral role toward defining the company's strategic direction and future growth plans, especially at the systems level.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to find opportunities and risks that face the company and to facilitate the advancement of the company technologically.
• Lead the development and execution of strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
• Establish relationships with key customers and industry thought-leaders through conferences, IEEE activity and roadmap meetings.
• Build, develop, and manage a high performing technology team and oversee research and development, as well as project management.
• Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.
• Establish technical standards and ensure adherence for product development and company operations
Requirements and Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a basis for technology and product roadmaps.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Business acumen to develop investment strategies for mid-term technology plans
• At least 15 yrs in Design Engineering with 5+ in senior executive assignments
• Significant experience in the electronic communications industry preferably at the systems level
• Fundamental knowledge of semi-conductor industry trends
• BS Electrical Engineering, MS or PhD preferred
• Willingness to travel 50%

RF MICROWAVE FILTER ENGINEER - Orlando
Position Summary:
MtronPTI is seeking an RF Microwave Filter Engineer to join our design and development team responsible for developing the infrastructure and design standards for new company products.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Developing higher-level integrated microwave and RF devices such as switched filters, tunable filters and frequency conversion products.
• Interfacing with customers requiring these new technologies and also suppliers for the development of components for these products.
Requirements and Skills:
• A detailed knowledge of RF and Microwave filter synthesis with experience in lumped element and distributed element forms is desirable.
• Knowledge of cavity and dielectric resonator filters used in telecommunications or military and avionics equipment is desirable.
• Strong background in CAD using electromagnetic analysis.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others to perform a wide variety of tasks in a fast paced engineering/production environment.
• Five years experience in filters and integrated microwave products.
• Minimum BSEE required.
• Must be permanent resident or citizen of the United States due to requirements of military contracts.
PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER - Yankton
Position Summary
This individual will assist in the design and development of low noise frequency control devices, primarily crystal oscillators, from 10 MHz to greater than 1 GHz for the telecommunications and military industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and verify designs using analytical skills, simulation, and experimental resources.
• Lead and plan product design projects, assess designs for manufacturability, cost, quality, and reliability, produce manufacturing documentation, and manage the performance evolution of products.
• Design and implement new product related test systems, and implement them into production.
• Gain a thorough knowledge of production processes and provide sustaining engineering for products already in production.
Requirements and Skills:
• Individual must have a strong interest in RF analog and digital circuit design.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic,GPIB programming of test equipment and microcontrollers, is a plus.
• Knowledge of RF circuit design, high frequency digital circuits, and signal integrity is a plus.
• Minimum of BSEE required.
