MtronPTI Introduces X-Band Cavity Filters for Space Applications

Orlando, Florida – August 14, 2009 – MtronPTI introduces the X-Band Cavity Filters for space applications. The new product series, Model UF9138, has been designed, qualified and manufactured specifically for Satellite Data Link applications. It is capable of operating in the range of 7.5 to 9 GHz and can be configured with 5 to 10 pole design topologies, offering a wide range of attenuation performance. MtronPTI’s proprietary temperature compensation technique ensures that this product line delivers less than 1 MHz of drift on an 8 GHz device operating over a temperature range of -35ºC to +85ºC.

The X-Band Cavity Filters are housed in a laser-welded, 2.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 inch package with SMA connectors. They feature a highly symmetrical 3 dB passband of 300 MHz with low ripple and group delay variation.
