Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Inter – Electrical Focus

Reports to: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Position Summary:
This position is for an engineering Intern Student majoring in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering major. Position requires student to work closely with manufacturing engineers on a variety of tasks which may include electrical / electronic assembly, component evaluations, process documentation, data analysis, etc. The selected candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter willing to work closely with team members of various disciplines.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build electrical / electronic assemblies as needed
- Review component details and document requirements (REACH, RoHS)
- Review qualification reports and create matrices of compliance
- Test and document product performance
- Document procedures and processes
- Assist in other assigned duties
- Work on various other projects and processes as needed
Supervises:
- None
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of electrical / electronic components (resistors, capacitors, etc.)
- Self-starter and good team member
- Attention to details
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Education, Experience, & Training:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering
Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Work in an office environment.
- Minimal lifting requirements.
