Position Summary:

The filter technician is responsible for tuning, testing and ultimately verifying RF filters to ensure that they meet the customer’s expectations. The technician will tune various RF filters, including but not limited to lumped element (LC), crystal and cavity based filters. The filter technician will also perform various environmental tests as required to ensure compliance to customer specifications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Tunes various RF filters including, but not limited to Lumped element (LC), cavity, and crystal filters
• Use computers and/or manually record data as needed
• Updates tracking boards and various floor queues as needed
• Performs various environmental testing as required
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to 5S and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) policies

• Understanding for electrical and electronic RF circuits
• Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics
• Able to work well with others
• Able to use computer programs and test systems
• Hand coordination and dexterity
• Knowledge of specifications and testing processes
• Ability to work cohesively with peers, engineers and supervisors

Education, Experience, and Training:

• High School diploma
• AS degree in electronics or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements & Working Environment:

• US Citizenship required
• Will be required to obtain security clearance
• Sitting for long periods
• Squatting or bending
• Technicians will be provided a shared computer and work environment for data analysis, etc.
